The Igroup Presence Questionnaire (IPQ) is a scale for measuring the sense of presence experienced in a virtual environment (VE). It has been constructed using a large pool of items and two survey waves with approximately 500 participants. It was originally constructed in German, but is now also available in English and Dutch.

After serveral different approaches to visualize the generic www in a spatial environment, "Clara" provides the technological basis to integrate interactable webpages into a 3D-scene. Furthermore a threedimensional chat was integrated to enable users to share their thoughts whilst navigating the space that stretches between these pages. The interaction itself, the "look and feel", the spatial composition of information and other aspects can be tailored for the user's needs by a scripting-interface.
Apart from our personal joy of running around in the internet like in a maze-shooter-game, "Clara" is also targeted at the requirements of those, who are looking for a way to organize larger amounts of information (e.g. huge websites). The flexible yet simple structure can be used for prototyping various approaches of information visualization and their evaluation. Needless to say that all sources are available.

The project is currently in a state of a "technological preview", meaning that the default interface provided is not a satisfying solution, but to demonstrate some of the features:
